6 week book projects
What do we do?
Students are required to self-select a novel within the chosen genre. After reading the novel, students are to pick a project from the matrix below (attached). Students will complete the project by the deadlines below. Also attached on this page is a copy of the grading rubric. This will continue for the entire year. Students may on do a project once. (For example, if a student creates a comic strip this time, they cannot do that same project for the next 6-week project.) Students may only use a book once as well. (For example, if they read a book that fits into two or more genres, they may not read or "re-read" that same book.)
